The Storm Story
2010 – The Beginning
From Engineering to Eggs Benedict
I was a software engineer in Silicon Valley, debugging code by day and experimenting with fusion flavors by night. My tiny apartment kitchen became my first laboratory, where I discovered that the same problem-solving skills that helped me write clean code could create mind-blowing flavor combinations.
2015 – The Food Truck Revolution
Rolling Thunder Food Truck
I quit my tech job and bought a beat-up food truck, naming it “Rolling Thunder.” Austin became my testing ground, where I served Korean-BBQ tacos, sriracha mac ‘n’ cheese, and other fusion experiments that had people lining up around the block. This is where “Cooknado” was born – the idea that great cooking should feel like a beautiful storm of flavors.
2022 – Digital Storm
Cooknado Goes Digital
After years of perfecting recipes on wheels, I launched Cooknado.com to share my flavor philosophy with home cooks everywhere. My mission remains the same: turn your kitchen into a storm of creativity, where every meal is an adventure and every bite tells a story worth sharing.
